Possession of dangerous drug?

Hello I know someone that has been charged 7years ago with a DUI which was a mister miner and just yesterday this person also got charged with a possession of dangerous drug which is also a mister miner, this person court appearance is next week, can she be issued jail time for it? I know there is a lot more to it than just a yes or not but in the short can this person be issued jail time and for how long?
