Is it me or do i have no tolerance for stupidity and ignorance?

This always occurs in most of my classes in a daily basis. Some people just are ignorant about school and talk their "friends" when the teacher is actually teaching us. Most of the time its just plain stupidity and lack of common sense. One of the most retarded things people ever said was "Whats a miner?" and "I thought Hitler was his first name." and etc (coming from freshmen in high school), but yet they make fun of ME because they think I'm the "smartest person in the world" just because I know a lot about what we're currently doing in class.
